Description

This strong rubberised magnet system with hook in white allows you to conveniently attach heavy objects to ferromagnetic surfaces. The rubber-coated magnet system with hook reveals its full adhesive force when attached to the underside of thick steel beams and the load pulls vertically downward.

The coating made of white rubber protects delicate surfaces from scratches and the magnet from occasional moisture and splashes. However, permanent outdoor use can lead to rust. The rubber coating also increases the load capacity in shear direction and provides slip resistance (see FAQ about displacement force). Thanks to their white colour, these rubberised hook magnets are very inconspicuous when attached to white walls and ceilings.

Please note:
If you want to reposition the magnet system, please do not attempt to remove it by dragging it along the mounting surface. This will damage the rubber coating. Instead, remove the magnet by tilting it with the help of a plastic handle. You can find a suitable handle for this magnet system linked below.

The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and of sufficient thickness and when the magnet system makes direct and full flush contact. Magnet systems already start to lose part of their adhesive force at a small distance from the ferromagnetic surface. This characteristic is more pronounced in magnet systems than in other ferrite and neodymium magnets. You can find additional fascinating information on our FAQ page about magnet system characteristics.

The structure of magnet systems

In magnet systems, one or several magnets are mounted on a steel plate with alternating poles. This concentrates the adhesive force of the magnets on one side of the system which, in turn, has a positive effect on the adhesive force. The steel plate with the magnets is encased in rubber. For more information, please refer to our FAQ page on the characteristics of magnet systems.
