Countersunk neodymium disc magnets can be fastened with a countersunk head screw. They are only 4 mm thick and therefore very discreet for hanging up signs, tools, etc. Especially suitable for cabinetmaking, kitchen installations, booth and store construction, signage technology, etc. We also carry similar, but stronger countersunk pot magnets.
Please note: Neodymium magnets are brittle and can break under excessive application of force. Not all holding surfaces are level, which is why magnets need a little slack. This allows them to optimally align with the ferromagnetic object and extend the highest adhesive force. That is why we recommend fastening these magnets by hand.
The following screws fit into the hole of these magnets, for example:
- Countersunk wood screws with groove: DIN 97 (3,5 mm)
- Recessed countersunk flat head screws (machine screw): ISO 7046-2 M3 (3 mm)
- Hexalobular socket countersunk flat head screws (machine screw): ISO 14581 M3 (3 mm)
- Hexagon socket countersunk flat head screws (machine screw): ISO 10642 M3 (3 mm)
Neodymium magnets are perfect for use in dry indoor areas.
